Cuvânt către cititor




În pofida celor care astăzi cred că societatea umană poate evolua doar transgresând reperele identitare naţionale noi credem că se poate vorbi de un fenomen, din ce în ce mai evident, de recuperare a percepţiei identităţii etnice şi de grup. Acest fenomen semnalat la nivelul multor comunităţi din întreaga ţară este, fără îndoială, un prim pas în procesul de conştientizare ce ne va permite să ne apărăm de “agresiunile”  celorlalte modele culturale. Revista Memoria Ethnologica îşi aduce propria contribuţie la acest demers de reactivare a identităţii individului şi comunităţii, de consolidare a propriilor repere culturale în contextul general al  uniformizării şi algoritmizării excesive. Acest demers este foarte important dacă ne gândim că o primă (şi gravă) consecinţă a fenomenului de globalizare este o ireversibilă destructurare la nivelul conştiinţei naţionale ce aduce cu sine acceptarea fără discernământ a statutului, deosebit de incert, de cetăţean european.







Foreword



In spite of those who, today, think that human society can evolve just by transgressing national identity coordinates, we think that we can speak about a phenomenon, which is becoming more and more obvious, which consists in a recovery of the perception of ethnic and group identity. This phenomenon, which has been signaled in many communities in the entire country, is, doubtlessly, a first step within a process of becoming more conscious; thus, we will be able to defend ourselves from the "aggression" of  other cultural models. The revue Memoria Ethnologica brings its own support to this endeavor of recovery of the identity of both the individual and the community, of consolidating our own cultural coordinates, within the general context of excessive uniformity and conformity to algorithms. This endeavor is very important if we thing of at least a first (and very serious) consequence of the phenomenon of globalization, that is, the irreversible de-structuring at the level of national consciousness, which brings along a thoughtless accepting of the so un-certain status of European citizen.
