Elemente din viaţa culturală a aromânilor din sudul Serbiei

Abstract

The paper analyse some aspects of an aromanian community fromthe south of Serbia,
in Vranje Valley – the village Preobraženu: the history of their immigration, theirs professions
and the influence wich they had it arround. They was very conservative keeping their ethnical
identity, but they was also the agents of the modernisation by the professions where they exceled.
The historical circumstances pushed them in the slavic assimilation specially concerning
their language, but the community still rest enough homogene in the customes.
